As a long-time Western Sydney local, fighting for Western Sydney has always been Prue’s number one priority. As a local parent, Prue understands the pressures that families in NSW face every day.
Since being first elected as the Member for Londonderry at the 2015 election, Prue has fought to ensure community assets like Jordan Springs Public School were delivered and continues to fight for schools, roads, transport, and health services across Sydney’s West and North West.
With the support of residents, Prue has also led successful community campaigns to stop the Liberals from dumping radioactive waste in Western Sydney and to prevent them from bulldozing hundreds of family homes.
In March 2023, Prue was appointed Deputy Premier of NSW, Minister for Education and Early Learning, and Minister for Western Sydney in the new Minns Labor Government.
Prue is a strong voice for our community in Government delivering on local promises like building high schools at Marsden Park and Jordan Springs, beginning planning to connect the Metro to Marsden Park, and upgrading Richmond Road. As your local member, Prue is committed to continuing to work hard for you and your families.
Prue grew up in the local area, attending Our Lady of the Way, Emu Plains, and Caroline Chisholm College, Glenmore Park, and is raising her family in Jordan Springs.
