Nomination for Community Recognition

As your local Member of Parliament I can make 60 second statements that congratulate or acknowledge achievements of individuals or groups within the community.

These statements are called Community Recognition Statements and they predominantly recognise contributions to the local community or honour personal achievements (e.g. sporting or academic awards etc).

Acknowledgement of Country

I Acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands and recognise their continuing connection to the lands, waters, and communities that surround us. I pay my respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders Past and Present.

The Londonderry Electorate lies on the lands of the of the Dharug people – the traditional custodians of these lands on which we meet, work, and play.
